Akuma101 is an alter ego of Wojtek Polak – a young illustrator & graphic designer from Poland. He began his journey with graphic design few years ago. First it was a simple line-art portraits of his friends & family, but after spending 6 months on art scholarship in North Wales School of Art and Design he decided to take his artistic activity into whole new level. He decided to spend his time to create funny, cheerful characters and illustrations mostly inspired by japanese mythology and tattoo art. Japanese culture has a big influence on his style, motives and even the name – Akuma stands for Demon often seen on japanese art prints.
I was recently very humbled to be included in the Anyforty & T-worldcollaboration Australian Invasion Tshirt series. I’ve been a big fan of both Eddie & Al for some time….but the real surprise was the amazing list of Australian artists they put together for the series.
