Exhibitions
I recently took part in two separate exhibitions and created a piece for each of them. Exhibitions always seem to be a refreshing step away from commercial work and a good chance to finally create some ideas that have taken a back seat. Both prints are available for purchase here.
The first was the Illustrator Australia A3 exhibition held in Sydney and Melbourne.
There was some really nice works on show. Check them all out here.
At the time I had a David Bowie week, hence the reference.
What if Major Tom was a monkey?
The second was the Look See 2010 Exhibition held in Newcastle.
Some really well respected illustrators on display, so it was humbling to be invited to participate.
I’ve always liked the idea of collective nouns. Murder of crows is the first off an inevitable series.
The night the exhibition was packed up, the gallery was broken in to. Murder of Crows was one of the selected works that took a walk……….which is ironically kinda cool.
Hopefully it found a good home.
