McKelly is Back and in Full Color with an Undead Samurai!

UnDead Samurai by McKelly

McKelly is Back Baby!

After time away from personal illustration projects, McKelly (Myself and my partner in crime Sean Kelly) is back and using color with total disregard to historical accuracy.

If you like this design, you can see more over at our website and you can purchase the design as an ultra cool light up LED skateboard from the amazing crew at Light Bohrd!

More McKelly Soon!

McKelly is on Facebook!

It’s been almost a year since Bucket’o’Thought and I started to work on McKelly. So today I’m excited to launch the McKelly Facebook Group. We hope to have our new blog and portfolio up and running in the next few weeks, but for now we have a great “fan bonus” of some iPhone wallpapers for everyone who follows us on facebook.

Join the McKelly Facebook Group.

Optimized for the iPhone 4′s retina screen, these wallpapers are perfectly scaled and ready to bring some doom to your phone. Who said facebook was a soulless corporation hell bent on abusing your privacy?.. Probably us.

Pirate Crest

Here’s a new piece called “Pirate Crest”, I made it for an exhibition a few months ago but haven’t released it online until now. I’ve been holding onto for a while, but now that I’ve got some good news I thought I would share it with you all.

I’ve started a new project with Sean Kelly – aka Bucket’O’Thought.

McKelly is a collaborative project between myself and Sean Kelly (get it? McInnesKelly!) which will take another few weeks of work before you see anything substantial (another reason why I’ve been quiet). McKelly won’t be officially launched until our site goes live (which will include, motion graphics, illustration and some design), but we do have the beginnings of a Behance page – you can find it at

McKelly also has a Twitter account if you want to check it out, but it’s mostly about random comments and links. We will be announcing the launch of our folio on it, so it may be best to follow us if you’re interested.
