I’ve wanted to do something with a nautical theme for a while now, and I just can’t resist drawing rockabilly girls. I recently updated my blog with the original sketch of my latest illustration, plus the process I went through with choosing a colour palette. As for mixing stripes with dots, well, fashion rules are meant to be broken.
I’m a graphic designer and illustrator living in Perth, Australia. During the day I work full-time at a boutique graphic design agency and in my free time I freelance and brainstorm ideas for new projects. I’m passionate about music so my work reflects this love as well as my fascination with colour and popular culture. My illustration work is characterised by bold and colourful images with a high attention to detail, and I love to focus on people to create memorable images with impact.
